RUTAN develops the RUT system into a lighter and more flexible expression. The same upholstered modules are used, but instead of resting on a beam, they stand on slender steel legs. This shift changes how the furniture behaves in a room. It becomes more open, easier to move and reconfigure, especially in versions with castors, while keeping the same clear geometry and comfort.
A simple and consistent leg system is used throughout. By rotating the legs, modules can be placed together or used as separate pieces. A visible magnetic connector becomes part of the expression, allowing units to be joined and separated with ease.
RUTAN allows the system to adapt over time, without losing its identity.
